Admin User Stories

Admin – User Story 1 (Admin will add/edit a make-offer product)

The admin will be able to create offer products:

  1. By setting a simple product and its price
  2. The offer tab is already available, where an enable/disable option will be provided to convert the product into an offer product
  3. Only when this option is enabled, the offer form will appear on a single page

Admin – User Story 2 (Admin receives notifications via email when buyers submit offers)

With the existing plugin functionality when a buyer submits an offer on any product, the admin will receive an email notification with ‘New Offer’. The email will contain the following:

  1. 3 buttons: Manage, Decline, and Approve.
  2. Product details in a table format.
  3. Buyer’s contact details.

Admin – User Story 3 (Admin will be able to accept or reject the offer via email)

There will be 3 buttons in the email: Manage, Decline, and Approve. On clicking any of these buttons, the admin will be redirected to the ‘Manage Offer’ menu, where they can manage everything.

Admin – User Story 4 (Admin reviews and manages offers status in the “Manage Offers” tab)

With the existing plugin functionality from the ‘Manage Offer’ menu, the admin can:

  1. View the listing of all offers
  2. Edit a particular offer and manage the following options:
  3. Change the offer status
  4. Make a countered offer
  5. View product details
  6. Write notes for the buyer
  7. View buyer details and buyer history

Admin – User Story 5 (Admin ensures a premium fee is debited from the buyer)

When a buyer creates an offer and the admin accepts it, the buyer will receive an email notification. This email will contain a ‘Pay Now’ button. On clicking this button, the buyer will be able to place the order, including the buyer premium charges.

Buyer User Stories

Buyer – User Story 1 (List offer and auctions products on dedicated page)

  1. View a list of products (both Auction and Offer products) on the front-end listing page.
  2. Develop a new shortcode for make offer products
  3. shortcode format – [uwa_all_offers]

Buyer – User Story 2 – (Buyer submit the offer from detail page)

  1. Access a dedicated “Make Offer” page or form on the single product page to place offers on eligible products.
  2. See an offer history table on the single product page, showing my offers with details like name, offer price, and status (Pending, Accepted, Rejected, Countered).

Buyer – User Story 3 – (Buyer receives notifications via email)

When the buyer submits an offer on the offer detail page, a message will appear saying ‘Offer Submitted’ and the buyer will also receive an email:

  1. ‘Offer Received’ email will be sent
  2. The email will contain the product details

Buyer – User Story 4 – (Buyer receives notifications about offer accepted or rejected)

When the admin rejects a buyer’s offer, the buyer will receive a ‘Rejected’ email.

When the admin accepts a buyer’s offer, the buyer will receive an email with:

  1. Product details
  2. A ‘Pay Now’ button, allowing the buyer to make the payment

If the admin makes a counteroffer, the buyer will receive a ‘Final Offer’ email and will need to make the payment.

Admin User Stories

Admin – User Story 1 (Add Offer Enable/Disable Option For Seller)

On the admin side, there will be an option to enable or disable whether the seller can add offer products. If enabled, the seller can add offers from their dashboard; otherwise, they won’t be able to.

Admin – User Story 2 (Admin can approved, review and not approved offer from seller)

If there’s an option on the admin side and the seller creates an offer product from their dashboard, it will go to the admin side for review as a draft post. The admin can then:

  1. Approve it
  2. Reject it
  3. Review it

Seller User Stories

Seller- User Story 1 (Sellers can add offer from their dashboard if admin enable the option)

On the admin side, there will be an option to enable or disable whether the seller can add offer products. If enabled, the seller can add offers from their dashboard; otherwise, they won’t be able to.

Seller- User Story 2 (Seller can manage the offers from offers tab similar to the Admin’s “Manage Offers” functionality)

The seller can manage offers from their dashboard by going to the ‘Manage Offer’ menu, where they’ll find a list of all offers.

Seller- User Story 3 (Seller will be able to accept or reject the offer via offer dashboard)
